Description

There have been times when the set screws on the motor pulley or gear case pulley have worked loose, allowing the pulley to slip on the shaft. If this occurs, realign belt and tighten set screws as tight as possible. The V-belt should not be too tight, but should run loose with a 1/2″ to 3/4″ slack. the belt is a 26″ size. If the belt is running excessively tight, bearing damage could result in the motor and gear case. Worn or cracked belts should be replaced.
